Vincent holds several degrees including Masters degrees from Waterloo (M.Arch) and Schulich at York (MBA). He divides his time serving as a partner with the design firm Atelier Anaesthetic and teaching a variety of courses at Ryerson University, Department of Architectural Science (since 2008) including integration studio, advanced applications in architecture, and digital tools.  Previously he taught a spectrum of courses within the University of Waterloo, ranging from industrial design to digital visual communication with the School of Architecture, and to design studio and urban design theory with the School of Planning (from 2001-2008).

Having experienced the rigors of design education, Vincent began pursuing teaching and research upon graduation which has garnered him various teaching awards and citations.

With professional experience with projects ranging from Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and North America under the auspices of firms including Wong+Tai, ZAS, and Zeidler Partnership, Vincent has tempered his pedagogy with a real-world context.

Vincent’s research interests include:

  • design communications and fabrication
  • architectural pedagogy
  • triple bottom line design
  • the relationships between architecture and media
